The Young Professionals of the Eastern Panhandle (YPEP) formed in 2007 to tap into an existing pool of talent in the region - a group that was just waiting for a chance to form an identity of its own. As part of Generation West Virginia, YPEP is committed to retaining, recruiting, and advancing young talent.
Currently, YPEP is preparing to celebrate their second anniversary this summer. On a monthly basis, they host professional networking events at different locations for young talent to get to know others in the community. We are providing venues to connect to the local community and its arts and recreation scene. In addition to professional networking events, YPEP is actively involved with coordinating service programs to give back to the community and region, community outreach projects, and discuss opportunities to provide for the group.
